Through an audio recording, we can sense beauty and joy and
feel all our emotions from a source which is totally
unique.  I have always enjoyed listening to a baseball
game on the radio as much or more than seeing it on TV. When
Louis Armstrong sings "What A Wonderful World" it is amazing.

I hope you enjoy listening to these files which are stored

As a schoolboy, one of Red Skelton's teachers explained
the words and meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance to his

 Source: (Removed from plainjanegames.com)

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead show up for the same
job interview.  The brunette is the first one to go in,
and after filling out the forms and going through the
questions, the interviewer decides to ask her last
 question:

"How many D's are there in "INDIANA JONES"?
The brunette thinks for a second and responds "One".

The interviewer sends her back with a promise that he'll
get back to her after he had interviewed the remaining
 candidates.

The redhead is next. The process goes about the same, and
at the end:  "How many D's are there in INDIANA JONES"?
She immediately says "One".  The interviewer says, "OK,
 we'll let you know".

Then the blonde comes into the room, goes through the
questions, and finally gets asked "How many D's are there
 in INDIANA JONES".

She gets a very serious look on her face and starts
 counting her fingers, muttering: "2, 4, 6 ...., hmmm -
 wait,... 2, 4, 6 .... can I borrow your calculator please?"

After going through 15 minutes of intense calculating,
she finally comes up with the answer: "Thirty two"

how the hell did you arrive at this answer?"

To most Americans, an accent is something that only other
people have, those other people usually being in New York,
Boston, and the South.  And of those other people, half of
the ones you meet will swear they "don't have an accent."

Well, strictly speaking, the only way to not have an accent
is to not speak.  If you're from anywhere in the USA you
have an accent (which may or may not be the accent of the
place you're from). Go to the above source and answer this

Hold Your Plums was probably the first British quiz show
to have ever been released on video.  The very popular
local radio quiz on Sunday mornings has the following
 very simple format:
Elderly woman phones in from somewhere in the Radio
   Merseyside/Radio City region
They are asked a very simple question likes of What's
   Hitler's first name?
Inevitably, the contestant is struggling and Billy +
Wally have to give out clues to help them out.
Billy gets very annoyed as the contestant misses the
point of the clue (with hilarious consequences) and
starts to scream down the phone like hell.
Eventually (and we do mean eventually), the question
is correctly answered and they get the chance to win
a prize on the fruit machine.

The new Texas preacher was a dead ringer for Conway Twitty,
the country music singer. One day he decided to visit some
of the church members who hadn't been to service lately.

He went to the first lady's house and knocked on the door.
When she answered the door, she said, 'Conway Twitty!'

'No ma'am,' he replied. 'I'm your new pastor, and I came
to have prayer with you.'  So she said come right on in.

He visited several more homes, and everyone thought he was
 Conway Twitty.

Then he came to a young widow woman's house on the end of
the street.  She was taking a shower at the time, so she
just wrapped a towel around her and opened the door.

When she saw her caller, she threw up her hands - which

The Diamonds were a Canadian quartet of the 1950s and
early 1960s who rose to prominence performing mostly
cover versions of songs by black musicians.  The
original members were: Dave Somerville - Lead,
Ted Kowalski - Tenor, Phil Levitt - Baritone, and
 Bill Reed - Bass.

The Diamonds' first recording for Mercury was "Why
Do Fools Fall in Love."  The Diamonds biggest hits
were 1957's "Little Darlin'" (originally recorded by
the The Gladiolas) and 1958's "The Stroll".

This web page has a video of The Diamonds performing
"Little Darling" in the 50s and one of them performing
the same song now.  It also has three audio shorts of
their most famous songs.  Click 'HERE' to look and
