his memorable characters was
Mr. Tudball. Mr. Tudball was
a Swedish-American businessman
whose intentions of running
a 'ship-shape' office were usually

Mrs. Wiggins.
In this skit, Mr. Tudball is
looking for a secretary, but

Cliff, Elvin and Martin secretly
compete to determine
who is the most romantic husband
in the Huxtable family,
and try to find the best gift
under $25. The women
find out and try to be unimpressed.
This fails when
the magnitude of the gifts becomes
apparent.
Sondra and Denise both failed,
but you could tell Claire
was all set to carry on with
the pact. Cliff gets Clair
a tacky barrette which broke
her down in the best way!
I can watch the last 2:00 of
this episode forever.
This is hands-down one of my
absolute favorite Cosby
moments.

in 1992. In the funniest
episode of the show, Marcia
Brody describes North, South
Carolina, the town she was
born in. It is 90 miles
southeast of Due West.

The vignette's premise was to describe, in great detail, the problems of a thirtyish woman named Marion (played by Carol Burnett), who lived in the town of Canoga Falls. The vignette dealt with problems that were more likely to be seen on a soap opera than in real life. In addition to the missed cues, the
